West Palm Beach was incorporated in 1894 and its first college opened in 1933. West Palm Beach is the current county seat for the area (WPB.org). With palm tree-lined streets, stunning waterfront vistas, and fantastic shopping, it’s easy to see why the city is experiencing such growth. Major companies have decided to open offices and shops in West Palm Beach over the past few years, including Goldman Sachs, Lucid Motors, Elliott Management, and so many more. Recently nicknamed “the New Wall Street South” for the numerous financial service companies that have or are in the process of relocating their operations to the area, West Palm Beach’s importance as a business hub continues to grow.

The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts is the premier location to spend an evening enjoying spectacular performances. For museum enthusiasts, the Norton Museum of Art houses a world-renowned collection of European, American, Chinese and contemporary art. For those who enjoy the outdoors, the city is teeming with waterfront walkways, fantastic views, and watersports gallore. On the city’s western edge, you can hike, bike, and get a view of the Florida Everglades at Grassy Waters Everglades Preserve (City of West Palm Beach).
