It is a busy time of year everywhere and the same stands true for Palm Beach. The annual “Turkey Trot” led participants from the start at Bradley Park through Palm Beach’s streets and along the Intracoastal Waterway to a brilliant and in many cases to a photo-ready finish. Enticed by potentially winning a stay at the Palm Beach Breakers’ Hotel “dozens of trotters participated in the @PBUnitedWayInstagram costume contest”( staff writer Aleese Kopf with the Palm Beach Daily News, Nov. 24th,2016.) This year’s Turkey Trot had more than 1,200 participants. The 5k walk/trot/run is filled with many town residents and is welcomed by many as a fun way to ease into the holiday. The United Way has organized this for eight years and with more than 1,200 participants, 2016 has been the best attended one yet.
